Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified serves Palos Verdes Estates, Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, Rolling Hills Estates and a portion of San Pedro. It runs preschool through twelfth grade.
Two things about this district surprise buyers, and both are worth understanding before you choose a street.
There is no high school attendance boundary. Students living within district boundaries may choose either Palos Verdes High School or Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. Your address determines your elementary and intermediate school. It does not determine your high school.
Eastview is an optional attendance area. Eastview is a section of Rancho Palos Verdes whose district of residence is Los Angeles Unified. State law designates it an optional attendance area, meaning students in grades TK through 12 living there may choose to attend Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified instead. Addresses in Eastview are included in the district locator below.

The district locator returns the assigned elementary and intermediate school for a home address.
One caveat the district publishes: an elementary assignment is only determined after enrollment is complete, and if the school of residence is impacted at that point, a student may be placed at the closest school with available space.

A boundary map shows how a district is drawn today. Boundaries are redrawn, choice and lottery programs move students, and no address guarantees a seat at a particular school. Confirm any specific address with the district before it factors into a purchase.
