Raju Chhabria is the CEO and principal broker of Chhabria Real Estate Company, a full-service residential and commercial real estate boutique firm launched in September 2016. The company is located in beautiful Palos Verdes Estates California, and serves the real estate markets of the South Bay’s Palos Verdes Peninsula and Beach Cities. For over three decades, Raju Chhabria has established himself as the top local and national sales agent with record property sales of $100 million each year since 1998, and over $3 billion dollars in lifetime sales. His long-term success with real estate sales and vision to grow his business was the driving factor in becoming an independent brokerage.

Prior to opening his brokerage (Chhabria Real Estate Company), Raju Chhabria worked as an associate broker at Shorewood Realtors for 21 years. Every year, he exceeded Shorewood’s sales goals which resulted in recognition as the company’s number one agent. His real estate expertise and entrepreneurial spirit led him to open real estate businesses in property management and new construction services.

Raju Chhabria was born in Bangalore, India. In his hometown, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business and Commerce from St. Joseph College and a bachelor’s degree in Law/Legal Studies from RC College. In 1984, he moved to Los Angeles, California and pursued his real estate license. He assimilated into the American culture and quickly became a successful real estate agent.

In 1989, his drive and passion for real estate led him to open his first Century 21 office in Manhattan Beach, California. In 2001, he moved from Century 21 to Shorewood Realtors and opened an office in Palos Verdes Estates, California. In 2013, he invested in commercial properties and constructed his office buildings in Hermosa Beach and Torrance, California.

In the community, Raju Chhabria has served on the Board of Trustees for Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital Foundation in Torrance. He also provided charitable donations towards a variety of causes for Torrance Memorial Hospital. Investing in education has also been a priority for him. Locally, he contributed a major donation and construction services to build a new library for Montemalaga Elementary School in Palos Verdes Estates. He also provided funding to Peninsula and Hermosa Beach Education Foundations. Chhabria enjoys supporting the Pepper Tree Foundation (Tracy Austin’s tennis tournament) and charitable programs in the arts, cancer research, children’s music, and sports.

Raju Chhabria lives in Palos Verdes Estates and is married to Philomina Chhabria –his wife and lifetime real estate partner. His hobbies include tennis and watching the Lakers play basketball. He has two sons Neil and Anand Chhabria, who followed in his footsteps and became sucessful real estate agents working in the family business.
